Converting your Document to Ebook Format
Amazon uses a proprietary ebook format called .mobi. In order to work with ebook formatting, I recommend you use an intermediate open ebook format called .epub. This is supported by many readers and editing tools and can be easily converted to the Amazon format when finished.
